How Long Does Loot Take To Despawn Sea of Thieves 

    Loot in sea of thieves is probably the most saught after thing in the game. It is the core gameplay mechanic in the entire game. Now sometimes when you get into an altercation some of that hard earned loot may be lost to the depths of the sea. 

    However not all hope is lost because there is still some time before the loot travels down to Davy Jones'  locker. There is debate regarding how much time you have before the loot is lost.

    However generally there is about 5 to ten minutes before the loot begins to sink below the waves and if it reaches a certain point it will despawn and will not be recoverable. Therefore it is important that you make haste in order to keep your hard earned gold. 

    However this only applies for when the loot is underwater. If the loot is stashed on an island then it will go nowhere, it will presist on the server until the server is closed or too unactive. As far as I have played there has never been an issue regarding dissapearing loot on land.
